The problem
The system isn't built for patients. LabLooker is.
Here's what patients face every day — and what LabLooker does about it.
You don't know what to order
Doctors use codes you've never heard of. Insurance denies tests without explanation. You're left Googling at midnight.
✓ LabLooker lets you search by symptom — fatigue, hair loss, brain fog — and see which tests to ask for.
Browse test panels →Lab prices are a black box
The same ferritin test costs $28 at one lab and $400 at another. Self-pay options exist — but nobody tells you where to find them.
✓ LabLooker compares real self-pay prices across 7+ labs side by side, so you can find the lowest price before you order.
Compare prices →Talking to your doctor is hard
You know something's wrong. But walking in without the right test names, CPT codes, or ICD-10 diagnoses means getting dismissed.
✓ LabLooker generates a ready-to-send doctor request with the exact tests, codes, and clinical reasons — so you walk in prepared.

Finally, a tool built for patients
One place to research your labs for free — and track your own results when you're ready to go deeper.
Search by symptom or test name
Find what you need whether you know the test name or just your symptoms. LabLooker connects either one to the right tests.
Search tests →Compare real self-pay prices
See prices from Quest, LabCorp, Ulta Lab Tests, Walk-In Lab, and 10+ more, side by side.
Compare prices →Understand the codes
Every test includes its CPT code, common ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and a plain-English explanation of what it measures and why.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
No — we're a research tool. We help you find and compare labs, but you order directly from them.
We update prices regularly, but always confirm with the lab before ordering. Prices can change with promotions or updated fee schedules.
Not directly — we link you to the lab or direct-to-consumer platform where you can complete your order.
No account is needed to search, compare, or translate — and we never store anonymous search history. Premium members who use Track Results voluntarily save their own lab results to their private account. That data is yours alone, never sold or shared, and can be deleted at any time from your settings.
LabLooker's research tools work in all 50 states. Self-pay ordering links are unavailable in NY, NJ, and RI where direct-to-consumer testing is restricted by law.
LabLooker grew out of my personal experience with how unnecessarily complicated lab testing can be. Between tests getting lost in the system, orders that never made it to the lab, and results that don't match what you actually asked for — patients are often left navigating a process that is far more fragmented than it should be. When that happens, they end up fasting again, getting stuck again, waiting again, and paying again.
Those frustrations are what led me to build LabLooker — a tool to help patients catch avoidable issues earlier, understand what has actually been ordered, and navigate lab testing with more confidence.
