What This Test Measures
Highly sensitive CRP for cardiovascular risk; also monitors subclinical inflammation.

TIMING: Avoid testing within 48–72 hours of intense exercise, acute illness, injury, dental work, or infection. Retest in 2–3 weeks if unexpectedly high. Optimal hs-CRP is below 0.5 mg/L per functional practitioners (vs. standard <3.0 cardiac cutoff). CRP above 1.0 suggests chronic low-grade inflammation.
